Credia Plus: Lease Extraction

This highly anticipated feature is now available in beta for Credia Plus customers.
Credia Extract transforms manual lease setup into a fast, AI-assisted workflow by automatically extracting key information from an existing lease document to create a live record in Re-Leased. This update will significantly reduce manual data entry and speed up the tenancy set up inside Re-Leased.
Bank Account Approvals

Bank account changes can now require approval before becoming active.
When bank account details are added or updated on a contact, changes are held in a pending state until approved by an authorised user. Each change is logged with a full audit trail showing who made the update and who approved it.
This added layer of verification helps reduce the risk of payment fraud and accidental errors when managing sensitive financial information.
Bank Account Approvals is available in beta for Pro customers.

Sequential Numbering is now available in open beta for standalone and trust/client accounting customers.
You can now configure custom sequential numbering for income invoices and credit notes, including custom prefixes, automatic increments, and number padding. This gives you greater control to meet internal audit requirements and regional compliance standards.
For UK customers, sequential numbering can also be applied to payment requests and VAT receipts, helping maintain consistency across financial documents.

Invoice Payment Recognition

You now have more control over when invoices are marked as paid.
Instead of invoices being marked as paid immediately when a tenant makes a payment, you can choose whether payment status updates when the tenant pays, when funds are received, or when payments are reconciled. This allows payment status to better reflect cleared funds and align with trust accounting and regional compliance needs. Read more here.
Default Payment Account

If you use multiple Re-Leased Pay accounts, you can now set a default payment account per company.
This makes it easier to control where payments are routed and supports phased rollouts, pilots, or selective enablement of Pay Online across your portfolio. Read more here.

This month, we’ve made several updates to ensure the new workflow supports the same day-to-day tasks customers rely on today, while also making invoice processing faster and more streamlined. If you haven’t already, we recommend starting to use Expense Invoice Processing ahead of the Bulk Invoices workflow being sunset.

Copy Details to the Next Invoice

Processing batches of expense invoices is now faster. A new toggle allows users to copy invoice details to the next invoice during manual processing, reducing repetitive data entry and speeding up high-volume workflows.
Complete Maintenance Tasks Inline

You can now complete linked maintenance tasks directly from the invoice processing screen. Status updates happen in real time, reducing unnecessary navigation and saving time.
Attachments During Invoice Processing

Attachments can now be added while creating or editing an expense invoice. Upload receipts, contracts, or supporting documents during processing to keep records complete and accurate from the start.

Base Year Concessions in Budgets

You can now model and manage base year concession structures directly within budgets. This improves accuracy for leases commonly used in North America and Australia.
Automated Arrears Notices
New feature
Arrears correspondence can now be automated.
Instead of manually reviewing overdue invoices and sending notices each day, Re-Leased automatically checks for invoices in arrears and sends notices to tenants that meet your configured criteria. This reduces manual effort while maintaining consistent arrears management.
Document Sensitivity Labelling
New feature
You can now label documents as Confidential, Restricted, or Public.
Apply colour-coded indicators, filter documents by sensitivity, and control who can view or download sensitive files — making it easier to manage access and protect important information.
🏦 TRUST ACCOUNTING
Automatic Tenant On-charge Invoices for Expense Instalments
New feature
You can now automatically generate tenant income invoices when creating expense instalments.
Enable an on-charge option when setting up an instalment template for a tenancy, allowing Re-Leased to automatically create a corresponding tenant invoice for each expense instalment. Invoice status, income account, and due date can be configured once in the template, with the option to copy attached documents to tenant invoices and hold expense invoices until the tenant on-charge has been paid.
Multi-Property Owner Ledgers + Owner Statements
New feature
Manage owner funds across multiple properties without the complexity of separate ledgers or inter-ledger transfers.
Owner ledgers can now be assigned to multiple properties, allowing funds to be shared where appropriate and enabling consolidated owner statements with clear, property-level breakdowns. This simplifies fund management while maintaining detailed, transparent reporting using the Balances owner statement format.
